Road To Sun Prequel (Director’s Cut): Icarus vs Rose

Hey y’all! So this part of the website will be me trying to update y’all on the progress of my projects + any new projects I decide to take on. These entries will be more informal. Basically like a Tumblr blog. So anyways for the prequel series im working on, the purpose behind the prequel was for me to test out different film themes, new camera techniques, and learn new skills that I can apply to the feature film’s production while also telling a contemporary story. But one theme that I couldn’t coherently fit into either my prequel or feature, was an action scene. I love action movies and especially ones with very good close combat. So when these lightsabers I ordered came in the mail, I had to do it lol. My caveat to include it within the universe of my project was to just call it a director’s cut. That’s probably not the intended use for the term, but hey…we just not goin to talk about that. Anyway I’m in the middle of filming it right now and I hope to get all the clips I need next week. In the meantime I put together a few shots of what I have so far and made a small sneak peek. I’ll drop the video below. Enjoy. (I do not own the music used. This is an unfinished product, and the music will be changed to original music when the final product is released.)
